Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn is an American actress from America. Her most well-known role was as Skyler in the drama series of AMC, Breaking Bad. She won the Primetime Emmy Awards in 2013 and 2014 for Outstanding supporting Performance on a a Drama Series for 2013 and 2014. Her other roles include Jean Ward in The Practice as well as Martha Bullock from Deadwood. She was born in Sante Fe, New Mexico in the year 1968, Anna Gunn fell in love with the art of acting at Preparatory School before her family moved to Ohio at the end of the 1970's. Theatre studies was through Northwestern University. A semester was completed in the British American Drama Academy. Anna started out in Chicago, working in theatre roles for many years. After that, she relocated to Hollywood, where she began her acting career in movies and television shows. Anna got her first major part in the role of Arden in the TV show Down the Shore. Down the Shore aired 29 episodes in 1992. Anna continued to appear in movies as well as TV shows such Seinfeld, NYPD Blue and other shows until the end of the 1990's. She was then selected for The Practice as Jean Ward. Martha Bullock, a character that she played for a period of two seasons during Deadwood's 2nd season. Skyler appeared in Breaking Bad (2008). Sully and Deadwood was another film she appeared in. Gunn was also on stage in David Schwimmer's show Sex With Strangers. In 2022, Gunn also was a part of a four-part audio-play series called "Numbered days". Breaking Bad often revolves around Walter White and Skyler's relationship. The drama's tension and final demise mirror the last few decades that were the life of Walter White.
